Madison Heights, MI, August 4, 2006 – For the first time, Detroit snack food company Kar’s Nuts will join the Annual Woodward Dream Cruise, which will take place on Saturday, August 19. To many Metro Detroiters, Kar’s Nuts has been a favorite brand of delicious healthy snacks since 1933. Kar’s Nuts holds an important place in Detroit history and the Dream Cruise is a great place for the company to connect with its base of loyal fans as well as make new ones. Kar’s Nuts encourages the Dream Cruise crowd to stop at the Kar’s Nuts booth, located at 13 Mile and the northeast corner of Woodward in the CVS parking lot, and pick up a balloon, get their face painted and enjoy free goodies such as Kar’s famous Sweet `N Salty Mix® – a delicious blend of peanuts, raisins, sunflower kernels and chocolate.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest one-day celebration of car culture and more than 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special vehicles will participate in the event from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cars navigate the route along Woodward Avenue, starting in Ferndale and making their way to Pontiac.
